Because of multiple injuries caused by the use of axes and hatchets when de-branching and de-barking timber, the Zembe skinpad was developed. This unique product protects forestry workers , brush cutlersand tree fellers.
The Zembe skinpad consists of an injection moulded HDPE shell, inlaid with10mm high density foam and fastened with 38mm military spec velcro straps.

The relatively thin, multi-layer inlay is made up of innumerable long fibres. If the chain cuts through the outer layer of fabric, whole fibre bundles are pulled out which block the drive and nose sprocket, thus bringing the chain to a stand-still. This considerbly reduces the risk of injury.
